Dr. Lou Heitke

A Wisconsin native and Marquette Graduate, Dr. Lou Heitke considers himself fortunate to have been providing quality dental care in the Madison area for over 30 years. After earning his undergraduate degree in psychology, Dr. Heitke, inspired by his father-in-law and sister, attended Marquette University School of Dentistry. Three decades later he continues to be delighted with his decision to join the dental profession.

Dr. Heitke values the trust that his patients and staff instill in him. He has earned that trust through years of consistent treatment and sincere interest in others’ experiences, concerns, and needs. Over his career he has learned that every person has a story to tell. By appreciating and listening to these stories he better understands each patient’s frame of reference, and is thus better able to provide individualized care.

Dr. Heitke is a member of the Dane County Dental Society, the Wisconsin Dental Association, the American Dental Association and is a past president of the Wisconsin Dental Study Club. He has been a part time clinic instructor at MATC School of Dental Hygiene for many years and as a result has kept up with the most current changes and standards of periodontal treatment. Dr. Heitke served as a dentist for over twenty years in the Wisconsin Army National Guard where he was exposed to people from many different walks of life and part s of the world.

When not in the office, Dr. Heitke can be found enjoying the great outdoors, most likely golfing or working on his tree farm where he has planted thousands of trees over the past twenty years. He is a devoted husband and father and enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Tia and their daughters, Meggie and Katie.

Dr. Golden Vu

Dr. Golden Vu graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 1997 with a B.S. degree in Biology.  He received his D.M.D. degree from Southern Illinois University, School of Dental Medicine in 2002.  Dr. Vu grew up in Chicago and moved to Madison, WI after graduating from dental school.  In 2004, he joined the practice and has been providing professional, exceptional dental care to his patients.

Dr. Vu enjoys spending time with his patients and listening to their concerns.  He is deeply committed to delivering the highest quality care with compassion and a gentle touch.  His goal is to provide a personal and comfortable experience for all of his patients.  Dr. Vu is a member of the American Dental Association, Wisconsin Dental Association, and the Dane County Dental Society.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Vu enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Millie, and their daughter, Alyssa.  They especially enjoy visiting the Northwoods of Wisconsin and Door County.  He also spends time playing volleyball, going bowling, and attending UW athletic events.
